;>There is this family owned restaurant near Irwin that my girfriend's family
;>goes to every Friday, I think it is called Fat Zackal's. Ever since I
 ;sampled>soggy Mrs. Paul's fishsticks and Filet-O-fishes @ McDonalds, I have
;been quite>picky as far as fish fillets are concerned. The fish portions at
;Zackal's>are about 1/2" thick, and very rarely is it dry.

I agree, they have excellent fish sandwiches. It's pretty much a zoo on
friday evenings and finding the place is a whole other story. It's in a little
town called I think Manor, PA between Murrysville (Rt22) and Jeannette/
Irwin (Rt 30). It would be futile for me to give directions as I've gotten lost
2 out of the 3 times I've been there. It's a small kind of seedy bar/restaurant
and is closed on Sundays. They also have excellent onion rings.

Wholey's Fish sandwich (scrod) is the best I've had in the city and the
 atmosphere is unparalleled.
Of course this in only a lunchtime option.
