My wife and I were out for a drive on Saturday, and stopped at a Mexican restaurant in Hood River on our way back to Portland. We stopped there only because we had a 2-fer-1 coupon, but the food was wonderful, so I'll probably be back. It's Montero's at 1810 Cascade St. 503-386-8788. Nice people, friendly atmosphere, good food, reasonably priced. For those of you in Gresham, Troutdale area, it's only a 45 minute drive... not much more than driving to downtown PDX. From PDX, I-84 East to Exit 62, turn right... just a mile or two up the street on your left.
