I've been going to the Lucky 32 in Raleigh for years and am so happy the Cary location has opened. I've been to the new one as well about 10 times.

LOVE the artichoke dip appetizer. Seasoned with Thyme and served with crackers and toasted bread rounds. A meal in itself.

Salads are great. No, not pine nuts as someone said, but slivered almonds that have been seasoned. I was told all of their dressings are homemade (don't know exactly what that means...some places it means they added oil to the pre-bought mix. <G>), but I like their dressings. I usually get the 32,000 Island Dressing but the bbq blue cheese is interesting too.

If you go on Sundays for brunch, you get a tray of berry muffins, warm from the oven. Yum! We always ask for 2nds.

I tend to stay away from the higher priced dinners as I'm sometimes disappointed. Just last night, I ordered the mixed seafood grill (2 scallops, 2 shrimp, 2 oz salmon and 2 oz mahi mahi) and was disappointed as to the portion.

Also, I don't like the green and wax beans that are served with every entree. I usually have them substitute the grilled veggis (Not on the menu, you have to ask) or mashed potatoes, which are good.

I like the burgers and usually get a blue cheese, bacon burger.

I also love the blueberry bread pudding, served warm with hard lemon rum sauce. (They used to have plain bread pudding, but seems like they've changed it to have blueberries. Still good, but think I like the original better.)

They have seasonal menus in addition to the regular menu. They rotate every 6-8 weeks, I think.

Try it! Good at least for drinks, apps and dessert! Outdoor seating too! Nice atmosphere and I've always received excellent service from both locations.
