The menu is always inceredibly interesting, i.e. grilled salmon, with a pumpkin seed sauce, served with black beans (Henry actually has some Cuban connection, (Fidel's Bistro?)) and plantains. The other chef who cooks all the fish wonderfully is presently in Thailand and Vietnam. I look forward to seeing what tricks he incorporates in the meals there. As for affordability, it seems quite reasonable. A great thing about the wine list there is the ability to get some really great wines by the glass (Coturri, a wacky Cabernet from Sonoma comes to mind). Like TP I do spend alot there but it's only because I get those kid in the cookie store eyes. God I'm salivating already. The desserts are also wonderful. I hear the pastry chef is very French. A.
