I just wanted to give a plug to the Fox and Hounds. I've eaten there a good few times, however I went there a couple of weeks ago, and this time my enjoyment level surpassed all previous visits. After dinner, I ordered one of their deserts. It was a chocolate cylinder. Chocolate mousse (sp?), with a hard chocolate coating, with Baileys Irish creme. Absolutely delicious. The lamb that I had preceeding the desert wasn't half bad either. I had a craving for asparagus, and when I noted that it was being served with some dishes but was not listed as being with the lamb, I asked the server if I could get get a side order of it. She said that that wouldn't be a problem. I checked the bill later, and we weren't even charged extra for it. They were pretty busy that night, and it took a while for us to get our table. However, the manager offered us a free round of drinks for the inconvenience. Overall, we were duly impressed with the whole operation, the level of service, the food was very good, and the chocolate desert was remarkable. Our server mentioned that they have a lady that comes in to make them. Next time I head back I'll try to get more details on who this is, and see if there are other restaurants that she supplies.
