Customer Service Philosophy at Gypsy's Shiny Diner

No, I can't - I was prepared to tell the group the full explanation of my wife's and my uniquely horrible experience at Gypsy's in Cary that has convinced us NEVER EVER to go back to that galvanized trailer. I wanted to relate the whole experience of that waitress's obscenely condescending attitude and the insufferable rant from LaGyp herself when she came to our table (after a pre-emptive strike by the waitress from hell), but no, I won't vent. Instead, I'll just leave the group with the one tell-tale line of the humiliating five minute tirade that LaGyp herself inflicted on my wife and me in front of the entire diner full of customers when I finally asked her about her concept of pleasing the customer, and you, the group, can decide for yourselves how you would have felt: as I was asking her about her philosophy on the customer's importance, she interrupted me and said, "Stop right there. There's your mistake. We're not here to please you. We're here to serve good food and turn a profit!" Decide for yourselves, group, but it was the end of an era for us.
