WJ> Practically speaking, this means I'd like to stay with the eastern WJ> half of Long Island, but not the extreme eastern end -- on some WJ> previous trips, I got satisfactory results eating at seafood places WJ> whose names I forget way out on the tip of the island, but would WJ> prefer not to do that much driving this time. My tastes run to WJ> seafood and offbeat ethnic rather than "American" or "Continental." -William Johnson Well, perhaps you might enjoy a restaurant I tried two weeks ago, It is in East-central Long Island and it serves Irish cuisine. It's name is Dublin Delights and while it's specialty is Fish & Chips (you said you like seafood) they have a fine selection of good ol' Irish cooking. I tried the Lancashire Hot Pie, which was delightful. It is a quaint little place which is in the Historic Daniel Miller home in Miller Place. It is also quite inexpensive. It is closer to Stony Brook than Farmingdale (exit 63 on the LIE), but I live in Queens and enjoyed the near hour long ride. Here's the lowdown: Dublin Delights 99 North Country Road Miller Place, NY 11764 (516) 331-4848 Hope this helps you..... Andrew Yaeger ([email removed])
