I attended school in Rochester, and I must say that there is a great place to eat wings there. Country-Sweet Chicken and Ribs! The place looks like a typical big-city fast food rest. but they put out the best wings I have ever eaten. They are not the hotest I've eaten, but they are by far the most tasty. They are also the largest wings, non-fatty, that I have found. They have this great honey-heat on them.. Some supermarket carry a similar flavor in their BBQ sections called "Boss Sauce". Boss Sauce is similar but not quite as good, for one thing it is WAY to thin. Country Sweet's sauce is very thick and clicks very well to the chicken (and everything else). I can not think of a better lunch or late night snack than a plate of twenty Country Sweet wings, and a piece of bread to mop up the extra sauce. I highly recommend visiting either of the two Country Sweet stores on Mt. Hope or Monroe Ave in Rochester NY... BTW- I am slightly bigger than the average guy, and twenty will fill me up plenty. 20 wings, ~$8.00. Jason

I liked their chicken dinner which was 1/2 a chicken and cooked the same way as the wings. It was served on white bread with Macaroni(sp) salad. The hot sauce is great on the bread and salad. Great place to go late at night, for it was opened late. I wish I could get them here in Alabama! Hope or Monroe Ave in Rochester NY... I went to school in Rochester too, and if you like the Buffalo style wings, Country Sweet is not the place to go. (just in case you were expecting the traditional Buff. wings). For Buffalo wings, my favorite place in Rochester is Richmond's (on Richmond St.) followed closely by Jeremiah's on Monroe. Richmond's has the standard (and mighty tasty) Buffalo wings and barbecue wings. I have friends, however, who swear by Country Sweet. If you happen to be in that neighborhood (on Monroe Ave.), I have to recommend two of my favorite diners. Gitsi's has become exceedingly popular in recent years, and they recently redecorated the place. It's standard diner fare, open all night, or at least most of it. My favorite diner in the free world (OK, maybe that's an exaggeration) is Mark's Texas Hots, also on Monroe, a few doors down from Country Sweet. Good diner food, cheap, great coffee, and some of the best people watching around. Open all night. The cheeseburger special is highly recommended (burger, fries, beverage, mac salad, ~$3.50). Just my 2 cents... :) Kathleen ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kathleen Shanks / It's time for dinner now, / Department of Chemistry / Let's go eat. / Carnegie Mellon University / -Lyle Lovett / Pittsburgh, PA / / ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
