Yesterday I went to The Lobster House in Cape May. It was a pleasure to see a well organized and run restaurant.

First there was plenty of parking. The place was packed. We where told we had a wait of about 40 minutes and given a "beeper - tracker" that blinked and vibrated when our table was ready. A very good idea.

After spending a few minutes in the bar-lounge area we where seated. The service was excellent even though the place was packed.

The bread was awesome. A nice size loaf of fresh french bread with poppy seeds.

The food was outstanding and the portions huge. I started out with the steamed clams. 18 clams for about $7. For my entree I had the flounder stuffed with scallops, shrimp and crabmeat. My wife had Lobster House Special which was lobster, scallops, shrimp over linguine. My entree was about $19 and my wife's $21. Very reasonable prices for the quantity and quality of food.

The chocolate mouse for dessert was average. However I ordered a shot of B & B, which was easily a double.

The bill came to $65, quite a bargain considering my wife picked up the tab.
