I'll assume you mena Las vegas, NV. :)

For Italian with a good atmosphere, try the Venetian, located on Sahara about 500 feet west of Valley View. Haven't been there in many years, but it was a good place to go (good food too).

For steak, some people I know swear by Ruth's Steak House in the Circus Circus Hotel/Casino, while others enjoy Jeremiah's (Tropicana & Koval I think). The Port Tack and Starboard Tack are also pretty good, but about 3 years ago was a major yuppie scene.

If you're talking about Las Vegas, NM, I recommend Italian and steak houses in the Spirngs. :)

I recently was in Las Vegas, NV and can recommend The Palm in Caesars Palace. Its origin is an italian restaurant in New York that switched over to steaks and seafood but has also italian food. Try the wonderful crab cake!

BTW, while we enjoyed our dinner, we had fun watching five young black kids sitting on a table nearby. They evidently won a lot of money on a slot machine and did the only right thing one can do in this situation: they ordered a big lobster for all the money! :)
