You know, it's been quite here for a while, so let me start a new thread. We had dinner with friends last night at Hunan Peking Garden, a family run oriental restaurant on Manchester Road in Manchester. Over the years, this has become our favorite oriental restaurant in town, doe to its consistently excellent food quality and preparation. Appetizers such as Sizzling Rice Soup and Crab Rangoon are always delicious, and they have a huge variety of meals, from bland to 5-alarm. One of the dishes we had was the General Jor chicken, which is nicely spiced (don't touch the red peppers it comes with). I sometimes order their Cashew Chicken too, which is great for lunch, too. Joe Pollack used to write favorable things about this place, and for a change I agree with him.
