> My parents and I will be visiting relatives outside Minneapolis this > spring. Both of my parents are on very strict lowfat/low cholesterol > diets, and I'm searching for places where they can actually eat a few > items on the menu. A safe bet is The Good Earth restaurants, located in Edina, Roseville, and Minneapolis. They're casual places, with sandiches/salads ranging from $4 - 7, and entrees from $5 - 10. They have an extensive, very clearly labeled menu of low fat/low cholesterol dishes, with an emphasis on fresh/organic foods and juices. You're likely to find food that appeals to you as well (the wraps are excellent, as is the "Whole Lemonade" -- a little pricey but probably the best lemonade ever).
