Try Bangkok Thai in Dinkytown (across the street from the public library) for the best Thai food in town. Prices are reasonable - most entrees are under $10. The red chicken curry is great - finally a Thai joint in the Twin Cities that doesn't water down the coconut curry sauce! The spring rolls are quite good, too. They've got a lunch buffet (~$6) during the week.

For Indian, the best place I've been to is Taste of India in St. Louis Park (at 394 & Xenia/Park Place - in the little strip mall between the Sheraton and the Office Depot). They're a little on the pricey side for entrees, but they've got an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet (around $7, I think) that's a great deal on weekdays.

While you're in the neighborhood, Yangtze (two doors down from Taste Of India) is a good choice for Chinese, and they've also got a good lunch buffet during the week (~$6 or so).

Look these up on Switchboard (www.switchboard.com) for directions, phone numbers, and maps.

Bon appetit!
