Thanx. I'm not sure of any Indian restaurants. My favorite Chinese is the Rainbow, at 25th and Nicollet -- an easy bus or cab ride down Nicollet Avenue from downtown. Good vegetarian can be found at The Mud Pie on Lyndale and about 27th, also really easy to get to from downtown. My favorite vegetarian is at the Ethiopian restaurant Odaa just off the corner of Cedar and Riverside. It's served communally, so it's best to dine with people you like a lot, and is eaten with a special bread as utensil, so isn't a good choice for business meals. Take Washington Avenue to Cedar, and it's a few blocks up on the right. Again, really close to downtown. Good luck! Karen.
