We're going the week of April 20. Hi. I'm quite jealous of your trip! Puerto Vallerta is one of our favorite places. Here's some of the restaurants we like: Daiquiri Dick's - casual, on the bay. Love their black bean quesadillos and Red Snapper in shrimp sauce. Cafe d'Artistes - upscale dining (with prices to match). the best meal in town. Try their pumpkin soup and rack of lamb. Adobe Cafe - stark, southwestern interior. very good tex-mex style food. Los Bombas - high on the hillside. They make a house shrimp saute at your table that is delicious. Try the Red Onion for a beer, chips, and the sunset. Or the bar at the top of the (fake) lighthouse at the Marina area. Any more questions. let me know. Tracy [email removed]

If you find it, let me know the naem. If you do go to PV(which youshould), and you rent a jeep for the day at least once(which you should!), drive south from town on the coast...about twenty or thirty miles(Hey, you 're on vacation, aren't you?)...when the road you're on starts to turn inland....up a (possibly dry)riverbed for a few miles, there's a place that looks like a REAL tourist trap(it probably is).] We stopped there and had a dish called "Drunken Shrimp" which still makes my mouth water 5 years later! Sorry, I can't remember the name but you can't miss it! Enjoy! Marco
