The Korean restaurant in Union Square, Somerville, had predominantly
Asian clientele the two times I ate there, and its menu seemed to be
quite broad to this inexperienced Korean-food aficionado.

If you mean flat noodles with a brown/black sweet potato based sauce,
it's transliterated "Ja Jang Myun" and most Korean places serve it.
Boil-and-serve jajangmyun kits are $2-3 at any Korean market (e.g.,
Lotte near Central Square (Mass. Ave.), or Reliable in Union sq.).
(It must cause Koreans some cognitive dissonance to see cheap staples
 sold at restaurant prices.)

Koreana and Hanmiok (Brighton) are a bit pricey. Somewhat cheaper
are Hometown (Ko Hyang) and Woochon in Union Square, Korea House
in Brighton (Chiswick Rd. off Comm. Ave.), and Korea Garden in
Central Square (Pearl St.). I prefer the third, but some of the
 others have better side dishes.

There are also a couple of Korean buffets on Mass. Ave: Oriental
Buffet ($5.70) in Central Sq, and Arirang near the symphony. The
first has good food but some odd attitude as described in David
Chesler's posting. The second has more selection, costs a little
more and mistreats its Chinese waitress.
