Depending on the kind of food you're looking for and the atmosphere, here are my favorites (I haven't eaten at the chinese restaurant, but there's so much more): Sand Bar - combination hang-out bar/restaurant, a cut above basic pub fare -- downtown Barnacle - great basic New England seafood, right on the water in the Old Town section. Pellino's - very small Italian restaurant, next door to Sand Bar -- excellent and unusual dishes (best chocolate dessert I've ever had :-)) -- need reservations or be prepared for long wait and undesirable table. There are others, but those are my choices -- have fun! Nancy
