We did have a recommendation to try La Summa in the North End and it was great. We got there about 1:30 or so while walking the Freedom Trail [btw, this is an absolute must for tourists to Boston]. I opened the door and this little dog started barking. I noticed a sign that said Hours 4:30 => and turned to the wife and told her they only served dinner. We started to walk away and this little old lady stuck her head out and asked us what we wanted. I told her we stopped by to eat but didn't know they only served dinner. She said, 'well, we're open for You'. We declined, but she insisted, 'it's No problem, everything is ready for tonite anyway, come on in'. We did. She runs the place with her niece. We had a delightful italian meal all by ourselves with them waiting on us and chatting. Wonderful place.
