It is a chinese restaurant. I don't particularly like chinese food,
but others who have tried it say it's the best in the area.

The Beansprout, located south of Route 60 in Malden Center (or
east of Route 28 if you're coming up from Somerville, just
east of the train overpass; near the old Registry for old-timers)
was one of my favorite restaurants when I was childless and
 lived nearby.

It is "light" Chinese -- not sauces heavy with soy sauce and
 corn starch.
The sizzling rice soups are excellent.
Prices are moderate, a little high by Chinese restaurant standards.

As an added bonus, on weekend nights there is a live piano player.
(Last time this came up here, someone confirmed he's still there.)
They deliver: they have the easily identifiable yellow van with the
giant sperm on top. (Whaddaya mean it's supposed to be a bean
 sprout? :-) .)
