We ate in their dining room last summer for the first time in quite a while (we eat in the "Café" section at least once or twice a year, but I assume you're doing Real Dinner). It's very good, in the standard-upscale-Continental manner. Nice room, not too noisy as I recall, and the food is excellent. I happen to think Café Beaujolais, just down the street, is better (although a good deal noisier), but other views might differ, and the White Rainbow is certainly worth the trip.
Massachusetts
White Rainbow Gloucester, Any comments?
Paul, We all (12 of us) went last Thursday evening. It was a great success. We tried most all of the entrees! The lobster fra diavlo was tastey, sauteed shrimp in a orange butter sauce was filling, the fishermans stew was very spicey but throughly enjoyable. The fresh bread they served was crusty on the outside but moist and warm on the inside, we ate numerous servings! Highly suggest visiting this place! Ciao!
