Amichis : Little Italy
My favorite in Little Italy is Amichis. Young staff, lower prices, friendly small place, and food that (to me) beats the big fancy places hands-down. No reservations, but call them up and tell them what time you are comming, they will tell you how long the wait is. To turn the evening totally romantic, go over to Vacarros after the meal for coffee and dessert.

El Taquito : North Fells Point - On Eastern Ave. west of Ann St. Definitely South of The Border. Don't even think about food like it tastes at Taco Bell or ChiChi's. El Taquito even looks like one of those places Mexico-way. The food is excellent if you like true exotic and you are adventurous. I surely didn't think that Meatballs with a boiled-egg half in the center could be served up and taste central-american, but it does! Lots of interesting things on the menu and you actually can have a decent dinner on $5-7 per person! If you'd like beer to drink, buy a six-pack before you get there. Darn, I don't know the address, but it is easy to find and on the north side of Eastern.
