I missed the original request, but here is a list of the restaurants that my wife and I like: Breakfast: The Egg and I, Rt 1, just North of the center of town The Omlette Factory, about halfway between town and "The Egg and I" Cafe Amore, Shore Rd, but only coffe and danish/biscuits Other times: If price is no object, Hurricane's, in Perkin's Cove If loud and limited veggies OK, then Oarweed, also in Perkin's Cove. The chowder is excellent; little thickening "stuff" used. For "dress up" (relatively speaking), Jonathan's, on Bourne Lane, on the way to Perkins Cove For outside dining, The Lobster Pound, directly across the street from The Egg and I If you like Crab Cakes, The Grey Gull, Wells/Moody, but that is all we like at that place. Barnacle Billy's is OK, but Oarweed is better. El's used to be great for fried clams, ..., but has changed hands, don't know, now. There are so many places, just ask around. BTW, there is an excellent painter who has a shop in Perkin's Cove, George Carpenter. I prefer his watercolors to his oil paints, but stop by, he is "colorfull". Mike Pilla [email removed]
