Chicago, about a half block west of the Ravenswood stop at Chicago Ave. Apparently when they opened in the spring they were an all-veg place, but they had to change the menu to get more customers in the door. I was there on a Friday evening a few weeks ago and enjoyed the place. The menu is quite good, and there are plenty of veggie items on the menu, including vegan ones (indicated as such on the menu, too). The selections I ordered had a more rustic or earthy quality than some of the more refined Italian places in the same area (like La Locanda), but they sure make a flavorful porcini risotto! They have a mushroom-based lasagna which I wanted to try, but one can only order so much at a time. The number is 312.335.3739 (I took a card from there), and I had no trouble getting a reservation. Chicago Ave. was pretty torn up just outside the joint, so keep that in mind if you drive down--I took the CTA. Enjoy!
