Mei Shung, a wonderful, small Chinese restaurant on North Broadway in Edgewater. It's so much more convenient to get to for us far North Siders than having to trek down to Cermak and Wentworth. They give you two menus. One has standard Mandarin fare. The other is a more intriguing Taiwanese menu. Any of you who've been there: What do you recommend from that menu? I've been there once and had the jellyfish. Not bad. Cheers

The service is S-L-O-W. Last time we were there, each dish was served 20 minutes apart, including appetizers; then another 20 minutes to ask for the bill, another 20 to get it, another 20 for them to take the credit card, and another 10 to get the receipt. Sort of spoiled the meal. E. Mott

It's so much more convenient to get to for us far I LOVE Mei Shung. In fact, I like it so much, I bought a condo a block away! The Sesame Beef on the Cantonese menu is good. Panda Panda across the street, don't bother, their food is EXTREMELY average. Linden
