You might want to try a place called DISH on Southport, north of Addison. It is not a traditional mexican place, but has a strong mexican influence and a large collection of premium tequilla.  The Porcini mushroom fajitas are very good.

      I'm not sure how many vegetarian dishes they have, but the
Parthenon Restaurant in Chicago's Greek town is EXCELLENT!
