Name: HI YAN Restaurant
Rating: **** (4 out of 5 stars)

CUISINE: CHINESE, THAI
ADDRESS: 3645 W. Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL
         (312) 583-9221/9233
DIRECTIONS: (from Downtown) Take 90 West, exit Lawrence, go east 2-3 miles to restaurant.

DECOR: Cozy, good, clean and above average as far as small restaurants go. FOOD: Outstanding value and fresh ingredients. New to area (the location is in an Asian neighborhood. Korean, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese food found here. BEST selection in town.

Service: Very friendly, attentive.
Try: Chicken satay, spring rolls, or pot stickers to start. Entrees like Orange Chicken are especially good. My favorite are the dinner specials. I often invite a group of friends to have the "Dinner for x" specials that include several entrees and appetizers (fron 2-8 people). (see examples)
