Dinner near the United Center
There's an Italian restaurant called Tufano's or Vernon Street tap which is right off of 290. It's at Vernon and Harrison. They serve very good, moderately priced food. The salad is terrific, and the main entrees are generous. If ya want something like burgers, there is always Billy Goats Tavern at Madison and Ogden. Free parking there and its a short walk to the UC. Theres also Mother Hubbards who runs a shuttle to the games as well at Hubbard between State and Dearborn on Hubbard Street. Good priced food here as well And of course theres Cheli's owned by Blackhawks star Chris Chelios's folks at Madison and Racine.....never been there but hear it has good food as well....esp Cheli's Chili. Hope this helps!
