I don't want to be rude, but I thought Jazz's was awful. I love Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, etc.. and I've been to a number of noodle shops in Chicagoland. This was, without a doubt the worst I've had. If you're up that way, try Siam Square on Davis street. They have quite good Thai food and a respectable lunch buffet for about $7 (if you believe buffets are ever respectable). Noodle shop-wise, I haven't found any really good noodle shops up here. Penny's is pretty decent down near Belmont and Hi Ricky (near the music box and also on North Avenue) has really good sates, a wonderful panang curry and a wonderful green curry (though their menu beyond that is much less wonderful). Just my 2 cents. Apologies to Tom if I offended. Difference of tastes I guess.
