Cafe Bolero on (west side of) Western just south of Fullerton. I have only had the sandwiches there (excellent and VERY reasonably priced) - but I've heard the entrees and the tapas there is very good as well..

cafe bolero is okay, but there are much more authenic and 'neighborhood-type' places around. i'd suggest pancho's cafeteria on california and palmer (just south of milwaukee, about 50 feet from the california stop on the blue-line). been around for about 10 years, it's a nice, simple neighborhood hang-out w/excellent food.
