Tut Oasis 1147 Madison Street Oak Park 708 383-0366 This is on the Southeast corner of Harlem and Madison. I have never been there but I have heard that it is good. If you search Dejanews, I believe there were some comments on it last year. (If anyone can remember what the name of this used to be, please post it. It seems to me it had a "circus name", but I am talking 25 years ago...Big Top?) Try Grape Leaves, on Oak Park Avenue, just south of the Lake Street El for middle eastern food. Uneven. Can be very good cuter, cleaner than Tuts.. very small storefront place. Carry out or eat in. The place looks fast-food-ish, but it's better than fast food. I think it's very good. scott Dana Q. wrote: > Hi - I'm wondering if anyone knows of a persian/meditarrean > type restaurant in the west burbs (really westmont/downers grove > area). i'm looking for something like reza's really - a place > i can get falafel, hummous, feta, couscous, and pitas.
