The food was pretty good. --Brian

This rag is the bible as far as eating in Chicago is concerned. We have obeyed it for years and have never, never been disappointed. I don't go to Chicago to be seen or to see anybody, but I do go there to eat. Recent raves from me: Brasserie Jo, Mango, and Frontera Grill.
From a Chicagoan. Frontera Grill is not new, but it is consistently great upscale mexican food (best margaritas, try tiger shrimp in tomatillo sauce and duck tacos). Two excellent newcomers to the Bucktown area are Starfish on North Avenue and Soul Kitchen. Mango is getting alot of attention and for a tried and true Italian spot for peeople in black, try Mia Francesca on Clark.
