For Southeast siders: The infamous Carl's Vienna Hot Dog stand has re-opened. Although it has moved across the street from it's former location at 83rd and South Chicago, it is run by the same guy who closed Carl's a few years ago. The old man died about 10 years ago and the kid took over the business. The new place is in a brand new building on Segal's old lot. I stopped by Sunday but the place was closed for Memorial Day. Hot dogs are no longer 26 cents.
