Do you want romantic? Try Rosebud. Fun/casual? Try Mongolian Barbeque or Lou Malnatti's Weather permitting, a stroll along the river is nice after dinner.

Washington Square is also really nice and romantic. There are a lot of nice places in the historic/main street area. You could always walk up and down the Riverwalk and then just choose one of the places we've already suggested. Its a beautiful area.
