Sea Ranch! They have a little place next door to their fish shop to sit now, it's not big on atmosphere, but it's impeccably clean. Their sushi is the best I've had, and the other Japanese noodle and rice bowls are good too.

I'm sorry I can't give you an exact address, I don't know the area well, and just drive there to go to Yaohan and Sea Ranch.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the burbs is (since Marroquin closed) is La Margarita on Algonquin Rd. ~1 mile west of 53. Order the Pollo En Salsa Verde and of course a margarita or three.

Yu's Mandarin 200 E. Golf, Schaumburg - very good Chinese O'Grady's Brewery and Pub 372 E. Golf, Arl. Hts. - average food, good beer Taste of Thai 1029 W. Golf, Hoffman Estates - a few blocks west of your
                        area, but worth the visit.

How about LA Tasca in downtown Arlington Heights for tapas and such. Very good place (I'm a Spanish teacher).

The is also a restaurant on Roselle Road near Euclid, west of Harper College called Embers Charhouse (I believe) that has pretty good food, but the singing waiters are the draw!

Hope this helps.

Really nice "storefront" Japanese restaurant and sushi bar with friendly people running it. My wife and I like the combo (Bento Box) type meals, especially with the Salmon Teriyaki. We also like the sushi, pot stickers, and Gyoza. Good stuff!

Middle Eastern food (Lebanese?). Modest selection. Everything quite good. Reasonable prices. In an ex-Dairy Queen building (so not much ambiance!). At the Northeast corner of your specified range.
