Request: Restuarants in Kona, HI

try kanazawa tei (i think this is the name) in kailua kona for japanese, sushi.  we were there about 2 years ago and i assume it is still in business.  if my memory serves me correctly it is located om alii drive. happy eating.

      Good Italian is hard to find, but for an overall excellent meal
try the Palm Cafe. Expensive, but very good food. Also, for great local cuisine utilizing local foods, try Sam Choy's. He is a fantastic chef.

Uhh, that's a tough one.  Your best bet may be to check out the restaurants at the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel, a five-diamond resort with excellent food.  The brunch is truly excellent.
