The food was excellent. The price was high. It was the most I ever spent on a meal, until I went to Bouley (NY City). But it *was* good. (And Bouley is even better!)
Favorites on Maui are:
Roy's Kahana Bar & Grill in Kahana and Avalon in Lahaina
The food at both is outstanding. Bring money. $50-$60 per person with wine. Make reservations before you go if going during high season.
For breakfast try Lahaina Coolers and for cheap eats try Maui Tacos.
If going to Hana, pick up a lunch basket at Picnics in Paia.
If upcountry, Casanova's has good Italian food.

plexus pacific industriesDon't miss the Lahaina Fish Company in Lahaina, Maui.
On "kauai" is a restaurant called "A Pacific Cafe" owned by a young lady by the name of Siphonia and her husband Jean Josellin. They are customers of mine. I supply them with Aprons and Towels. I understand that this is one of the most successful and GOOD restaurants in all of Hawaii.... Al from florida....enjoy
