You are truly up with the expensive restaurants at the Waikoloa.
Most good restaurants are pricey. However, try Sam Choy's i Kailua. It is great for breakfast and lunch. He offers dinner a few nights a week. He is one of the premier chefs in the State. Also not bad in Kailua is Lamplighters at the Pottery Terrace. Good fodd. Reasonable Italian near the Waikaloa is Cafe Pesto in Kawaihae. A new one opened up there, Caffe Grinders. Haven't been there yet but the reviews sound good.
