Wine Street in Strousburg Fr

While Strasbourg itself isn't the center of the region, food-wise, it's an hour's drive from some of the best restaurants in France, notably the very expensive Auberge de L'Ill in Illhausern, which is worth every penny. The two-star Crocodil is also worth a trip. The winery regions are centered in Riquewihr and Ribeauville, and you can wander around getting drunk at tastings in both towns -- try Hugel and Dopff-Irion's selections.
