While you're in the 11e check out: L'Ange Vin, a real wine bar and L'Autre Boulange, one of the best bakeries in Paris (wood-fired oven, pain au levain--the real stuff). ----------------------------------------- David D. My suggestion: La Cabane D'Auvergne, 44 rue Gregoire-de-Tours, 75006 on a sidestreet off the Blvd St-Germain. Very rustic, country style. Kinda depends what you mean by the center of Paris. I'd recommend the upscale bistros Vaudeville (across the street from the Bourse) and La Coupole (in Montparnasse - 120 Blvd. Montparnasse). Both popular, lots of fun, and excellent food. -- Larry From X Sat Jan 14 22:47:34 EST 1995 Article: 13072 of rec.food.restaurants
