It's been three years since I've been there, but the Craftwood Inn in Manitou Springs was fabulous.  New American with local ingredients, many fine game dishes, and a cozy atmosphere.  A must visit.

In Durango, look for a small bistro called Lolla's or Lotta's.  I think that's pretty close.  It is on block off of the main drag.  If you can find it from my cryptic directions, it is a very good and unpretentious little plax place with some great breads.  Good luck.......
