What exactly do you have in mind? Is price range a consideration? Here are some suggestions for Colorado Springs. Denver is a pretty big place, so some idea of general area would help in giving suggestions. Colorado Springs: The Craftwood Inn - Manitou Springs About $100 for two with wine Most original cuisine in C.S. Vension, antelope, wild boar are often featured but seafood also available. Menu changes seasonally. The Pepper Tree - off south 8th St. About $100 for two with wine Their specialty is pepper steak which is cooked tableside. We've never actually tried anything else becuase it is too good, but the appetizers have all been excellant. Beautiful view of the city - one of the best in town. The Creperie - downtown C.S. A very small restaurant owned and run by a very nice French lady. Prices range from about $5.00 for crepes to about $12.00 for the specials, which change daily. We usually get out for about $35 for two with wine. Reservations are necessary, because there are only about 10 tables. Charlie's Pit Bar-B-Que - 2 locations This is the best bbq in C.S. Family style restaurant and fairly inexpensive. I think the full rack of baby-back ribs in about $10, and that is the most expensive thing on the menu. La Casita - south Nevada at I-25 Excellant Tex-Mex fast food. They make their own tortillas and grill everything behind the counter. Just like Taco Cabana in San Antonio. Other standard restaurants I would recommend: Old Chicago's, Beckett's, Ritz Grill I hope that helps. If not, send me mail and I'll try to help further.
