RECOMMENDE BY NY TIMES 5/96 I'll have to take exception to this recommendation. I ate there while visiting Vancouver last September and found it to be overpriced for the quantity and quality of food delivered. Personally, I'd recommend any of the myriad ethnic restaurants along Broadway (south of False Creek and not really "downtown"). Two especially good ones in this area are "Pho Quyen" on East Broadway at Fraser (great Vietnamese food, inexpensive, although a bit short on ambience) and "Fassil" (right next door) which serves delicious homemade Ethiopian cuisine. It too is somewhat lacking in atmosphere, but the food more than makes up for it! L.Duhamel From [email removed] Fri Jun 28 09:19:20 EDT 1996 Article: 25711 of rec.food.restaurants
