On my last visit to Toronto, I ate at Xango, a South American bistro, just behind the SkyDome. My review - I was enthralled at this place. The interior is warm and cozy and it offers both patio dining (along the busy street) with a dance floor/bar on the second floor. There is also a cigar lounge upstairs - if you are into cigars, you can light up a Cuban since they are not illegal in Canada.

I had the hardest time deciding what to order. I finally settled on a first course of Roasted Onion Empanadas accompanied by pear/gorgonzona salad with walnut vinegerette. This was followed by Chilean Seabass on a bed of calamari rice. Both dishes were wonderful.

We've got five thousand restaurants here, what kind of food do you like? The Senator is always great. What about Chinese? The Imperial Palace Dining Rm on 421 Dundas W or Hungarian Csarda at 43 Elm near Yonge & Dundas ...or?...or?...OR???>
