British Columbia restaurant suggestions?

I was in Victoria in November.  At the Empress Hotel, there's a buffet downstairs...I forgot the name of the restaurant, but if you walk into the hotel, you could ask anyone working there where the buffet is and they could tell you where it is exactly in the building.  I thought that the food was pretty good for a buffet.  If you buy dinner, I think that you also get the dessert buffet too, or you could just buy for the dessert buffet.

Do you have any specific preferences when you come to Vancouver? (Italian?  Greek?  Chinese?)
