If you go with another person, and one of you is having a birthday, it's effectively half price. That is true at Todai all over the nation. Show your ID when you sit down proving it's your birthday, and you don't get charged for the meal. Even at $22 or whatever they charge, I can easily eat more than that amount of sushi, especially if I concentrate on the salmon, unagi (eel), and yellowtail. >I recommend going to Japantown instead for Japanese food. I agree. The best sushi I have ever had in the area is at the San Jose Kazoo restaurant. The salmon and unagi melts in your mouth. It's even better than the Kazoo in Campbell. My only complaint is that they put too much Americanized sushi on the boats, containing unnatural ingredients like mayonnaise and avocado. Yech. -A
