The Virgin Sturgeon is an exception but I don't know if they do breakfast. Since Natomas is close to downtown and Midtown, you could try the ultimate dive diner, Jim-Denny at 12th and I St.. Going inside is like time travel. Less divey is the very popular Weatherstone on J in Midtown. It's got a traditional neighborhood feel. Also popular is the Fox & Goose, an English style pub on 10th and R. Somewhat more yuppoid is the Cafe Bernardo on J in Midtown. Another divey place in a divey neighborhood close to Natomas is Sammy's on Del Paso Blvd. If you want divey Mexican, try the 524 Club at 524 12th St. They serve a great machaca made with real carne seca. Good luck, D.
