Tried the new Thai Palace in Pleasant Hill. I thought it was great. Had Chinese broccoli. I had never had these before. Very long-stemmed broccoli, almost like asparagus. With a spicy sauce (I ordered spicy and it was - my wife had another dish and ordered it mild which it was). My sauce was light, not oily. The broccoli dish was called Pad-Ka-Na. I'm anxious to try the rest of their dishes. I think the food was as good as I usually get in Berkeley. It would be good to be able to eat closer to home (Lafayette) occasionally.
