You're probably thinking about Menka's, which is a Czech restaurant, located about a 10-minute drive from 10 Inverness Way, a well-known inn in Inverness. Wish I had the address, but I'm sure you can find it in the phone book. Good luck

I've heard that Manka's is good, but we got bad vibes from the place, and the menu has lots of California influences (we didn't actually eat there). There's another Czech restaurant called Vladimir's, which we liked a lot.

A half-block from Vladimir's is a typical Euro-California place.

Of the places we've tried, our favorite is Chez Madelaine. It's just south of Point Reyes Station on Highway One. Good french-esque food, but not overbearing with the sauces. Relaxed, quiet atmo, without pretension. Don't know about the Czech places in Inverness. Do stay away from the famous restaurant in PRS (Station House Cafe?). I've had several lousy meals there. BTW, the Palace Market in PRS is a great market for stocking up on picnic necessities.

Hope this helps-
