I like Evan's American Gourmet Cafe, 536 Emerald Bay Road,South Lake Tahoe, CA. It's not expensive‹‹but it should be. In the Stateline area, I enjoy the dining room at the Edgewood golf course $$$ near my house, and the Sage Room at Harvey's Casino $$$-$$$$. A little further to the north, Tim Dale's Wolfdale's at Tahoe City does a fine job, but would rate a $$$.
