My favorite chinese restaurant anywhere is the Hunan Taste at N. 4th and Younger in San Jose. They are packed at lunchtime, between 11:30 and 1:30, and not so busy at dinner, so dinner is probably a better time to go. Quite small, about 10-12 tables, and _excellent_ food. If you like it hot try their Hot dry string beans. My mouth waters thining about it. Prices very reasonable and service is friendly and good.
